This ingenious suite may blow the caps off the koppelflote! "Columbus Sails From Spain" is particularly colorful, and is a delight for performer and listener alike. Other pieces contain tightly interwoven hymntunes which offer a freshness to the timeworn tent-meeting harmonies. A trumpet fanfare is due the composer.
