When I talk to handbell enthusiasts, there are always a few "brand" names that come up as favorites, and deservedly so. However, it is one of SMNR’s missions to bring good literature to broad attention, and with this in mind I encourage handbell directors to find out more about the Laurendale Associates handbell catalog. I regularly review their new releases, and consistently find quality writers and editing in the new publications from Laurendale. A good example is found in the new titles "Adoration" by Phyllis S. Kirk for 2 octaves/3-6 octaves bells (HB-1055) and "Joysong" by Kevin McChesney for 2-5 octaves.
