Featured: "Convertible Music" with Dr. Hampson Sisler
Our choral reading workshop this year has a special and very practical twist. When we face reality, many of us do not always have the resources available to do SATB music. Our workshop this year addresses that concern.
Dr. Hampson Sisler will be presenting us with some music he has written which he calls convertible music. The essence of this music is that it is intended to be adaptable to SATB, 2-part, etc. This music therefore not only addresses the concerns of small choirs - but the other common problem of unpredictability as to how large a choir we might have at any given time.
