New music for the well-known English Christmas Carol text. The setting is derived primarily from the impulses of Czech folk music. The Czech text is an adaptation by V. Zeithammer of the original English poem by John Mason Neale (written in 1853). The original English has been underlayed in the music by the noted Czech musicologist Dr. Jarmil Burghause. Czech pronunciation guide is included.
